The focus of the first workshop was the Aceh peace negotiations leading to the peace agreement; and the subsequent challenges faced by the Aceh Monitoring Mission (AMM), a body coordinated by the European Union and five ASEAN countries invited by the Indonesian central government to support the initial implementation and monitoring of the peace agreement during 2005 - 2006. read more |

PACTA's General Manager Juha Christensen meets Indonesian Vice President Dr. BoedionoPosted on 17 March 2014PACTA’s General Manager Juha Christensen had a formal meeting with Indonesian Vice President Dr. Boediono on 23rd February 2014. The discussions covered wide range of topics related to economic and political issues in Indonesia and ASEAN region. Indonesia will be going through a series of changes in 2014 as the general elections will be held on 9th of April followed by presidential elections in July and possible second round to be held in early September.
